India at Beijing Olympic
Posted: Tue, 19 Aug 2008
It's really nice feeling that
Abhinav Bindra
have won gold medal first for India in individual event in the 108 years long Olympic history. But how to blame?
some time i see my friends blaming the Indian athlete for the poor show. Lastly as Indian racer was there in the 10 KM event. And when race ended he was yet to complete more then one round. It's not his mistake
How come we can expect a people to win and prepare for Olympic medals when they don't have food guarantee. The bhiwani boxing club who produced three people who made it to the top 8 is a setup of just 4 lack. What facilities can one guarantee to them in this much money. But it's really great that they made so far.Imagine what they can achieve if they got a like million dollar. you can expect a couple of gold medals every Olympic from boxing. But Govt (aka system) will not provide the facilities. The minister who run the sports really don't know where to invest.
Our govt is only willing to give million dollar to the one who have won. But not to people who aspire to win medals
Bindra won
GOLD
only because he had the backbone and was smart enough to move away from the system.
If we want our people to win medals at Olympic We need to grantee the future to those who prepare for sports.

The great Bill Gates logsOff !
Posted: Sun, 29 Jun 2008
Well this Friday (27 jun 2008 ) Bill gates said bye bye to Microsoft after spending 33 years in office and managing day to day activity. My perception of him is the genius business man rather then the genius computer programmer in fact is a greatest or the first professional software maker of the world.
It took him 5 years to get his major contract to provide a OS to the IBM computers. and after that he never looked back. He made MS DOS based on some existing similar operating system by buying the parent product.
He did argument with IBM over OS2 and dare to go ahead with window. As i read on the internet OS2 happens to be far superior to the purposed window but his marketing strategies took OS to by storm and make him the undisputed leader of the PC OS. People argument that he was not fair enough to the competition and he made his way by unfair business practice. I believe in today's corporate world every company work like that he was expert ( in fact he is ) in manipulating the things and shaped the market to favor his company. But that was the biggest boost to the promotion of PC's in the world today we see over 50 million PC's running MS windows and related softwares. The computer industry has never been here without him. few may argue but this is true that bill gates has been standard setting authority over the last 2 decades. His internet explorer is not the best in business it's NOT W3C standard compliant. But it is mostly used and every web application is being written for the IE rather than keeping any other browser in mind. I believe he is the only person to have made fortune over 100 Billion. He have donated a lot from that and still with 58 billion in his pocket.
His charity foundation Bill and Melina gates foundation is already worth $100 billion and and is responsible for running health services in 50% of the poor African countries.
He influenced the 20th's century most and is the man for the 20 century.
Best of luck to bill gates for his new work at Bill and Melina gates Foundation
Someday he will run for the white house and he will win and be the president Bill W Gates III

I have been travellig to delhi quite often. This is the first time i get to travel in metro. Its hell quick when compared to my car. In the evening my car takes some 60 to 70 minutes. But where as metro takes just 30 minutes.
