DEAR GOD. Posted: Sat, 05 Jan 2008 Dear God, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself...and the fact that I think that I am following Your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe this: I believe that the desire to please You does in fact please You. I hope I have that desire in everything I do. I hope I never persist in anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this You will lead me by the right road, though I may know nothing about it at the time. Therefore I will trust You always, for though I may be lost - and in the shadow of death - I will not be afraid, because I know You will never leave me to face my troubles all alone. Posted: Sat, 05 Jan 2008 Matthew 18: 19-20 I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered in My name, I am there in their midst. There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in fellowship and in numbers. Power to live the life promised to you comes in fellowship and agreement with others. Don’t isolate yourself from other believers. When you come into agreement with other believers, satan has to flee. He can’t stand it when two or more believers in Jesus get together in prayer. For many years, satan has tried to stop the movement of Jesus but like a mighty army, the church keeps moving onward. We have the power in the name of Jesus. Though satan rages, you can’t be defeated because you have the power in the name of Jesus Christ. Use His name when you face battles you can’t win. Remember Jesus promised that when two or more of us get together in His name and ask for help He would answer. Today find another Christian and ask Jesus to give you the power to overcome whatever obstacle stands in your way of victory. The battle has already been won all you have to do is walk in that victory. You will not be defeated in the name of Jesus. You will soar like an eagle today in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, you will see mountains moved. In the mighty name of Jesus, you will see your life change. Today be determine to find other believers and join hands with them in prayer and power. You don’t have to go through this life alone, find others, and find power in the name of Jesus Christ. For You alone did it all. You died for us, the great and the small. The moment You cried "it is finished" and surrendered Your spirit to the Father, Life anew poured out to those who'd accept it, and no other. For it's Your gift and no one can earn it. So tell me, Lord, What can I do for You? Go forth and share the Good News I have given to those far and near, those who will listen. The fields are white for harvest, but the workers are very few. Go forth from your comfortable chair, go forth from your altar and pew. Share with those who have not, love the unlovable too, stretch out your hand, and understand, it's the least that you can do. For when you've helped the least of these, it is Me that you will truly please. Remember, you are not from here - your home streets are paved with gold, do what I have commanded of you and to the devil don't allow yourself to be sold. He's the father of lies and seeks to destroy your very soul, But you are Mine, My precious one, I have made you whole. Keep your eyes on Me and let Me lead you now, the way that takes you through the narrow gate, you ask "how?" Through prayer and special time with Me; this time is usually spent on ones knees. Read My word for your directions in life, for it will keep you free from worry and strife. Seek My will and not that of another, conformations sometimes comes from a brother. Set your heart and mind on the things of heaven, not here and now where you are livin'. For this will all pass away, and behold I will make things new. So keep your eyes on Me, My precious one, that I may be seen through you. Precious Lord: In all that we do, may it be to serve you to the fullest and may we always keep at heart the words that come to us from the Bible, may we live firmly according to your will and may the things of this world, not overcome us, for the things of this world are not forever, but, Salvation and Heaven are eternal... & I pray that we will seek first your kingdom and you will take care of the rest.
