We upload that to our server in the same quality and format. But then after doing that we create smaller but fast loading version of that image. In that process we need to sacrifice some quality. but that gives us speed. Which is most important in country like India. As the bandwidth and screen resolution of computers in India increase we you will be able to see more bigger images. Some 90% in India don't use broadband connection. And around 98% people don't have 19" screen Or 1280x1024 resolution.
